In other news:
1) I thought the above forecast demonstrates the variability that you come to expect in Aberdeen.
2) I'm headed down to Edinburgh with four friends on the Feb. 20th to see Bloc Party perform. I didn't expect to like their new album, but have in fact been enjoying it. Most listened to artists of the last week: The Hold Steady, Bloc Party, Deerhunter, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Girl Talk.
3) Feb. 23-27 -- Florence, Italy -- Vacation.4) I was listening to Beirut yesterday and realized that I've seen them in concert. They were the 'mystery' band that opened for Calexico a few months back in Dublin. I think I enjoyed their set more than Calexico's. It's hard to always be in the know when you don't know that you know.

I look forward to seeing what you have to say about Bloc Party. I just got their new album this past weekend, and though it's good I wasn't as impressed with it as I had hoped.
Dude, I really dig Beirut. So damn jealous that you have seen young Mr. Condon and his trumpet.
