Albums in Bold are especially beloved.

With that out of the way I see no reason to bore you with the individual tracks AYT has aquired or those that keep iTunes running all night. Still, everyone should listen to The Clientele's "Since K Got Over Me," Devendra Banhart's "Some People Ride the Wave," Spoon's "Staring at the Board," Death Cab's "Marching Bands Of Manhattan," and Jens Lekman's "Black Cab."

The band which AYT is most excited about right now: Okkervil River. As you'll notice, AYT has purchased three albums by Okkervil River in sixty days. AYT is also wearing an Okkervil River T-shirt (brown with red lettering) these days. Since the "Free Single of the Day" changes, here is a permanent link to get you started (click track or band name to start downloading):

Lastly, if you are reading this and you use iTunes, then for God's sake, get on over to Last.fm. It will track your tracks and give your friends a chance to see what you hear. Case in point, here's my Last.fm page. Once you're done with this little piece of homework, add AYT as your friend. Happy New Year!

"There's only seconds left you'd like to second guess / But through your foolish ways you've literally beckoned death / So just don't say you gave it all if you ain't gave it all / Just fade it in the hazy purple twilight / No more time I tried to warn you all it's now approaching midnight."
